Looks a lot better than it did, if what I'm seeing is that you "unchoppered" the old CB-based chopper. Dennis Hopper would be proud; but it still has no front brake. Start yourself a new thread in "Other Motorcycles" to discuss the new masterpiece; don't hijack Wiz' thread. And in case you missed it, "elemental" metallics are the 'new' flat black. As usual, Wiz is on the cutting edge of trendiness (and probably doesn't realize it.)

Good work, Schoot, keep engaged. That ski-do reminds me of when I was in the snowy North, an Eskimo took his ski-do into the repair shop, the mechanic said "it looks like you just blown a seal" & he said "no it's just frost on my mustache"
& Fitz, I live in Australia, not Uzbekistan.

nope, that first pic is an xs650 roller, motor was out, and it's actually the 41st xs650 ever built, and that motor has a bunch of work done to it.
well that xs650 frame is an AEE frame, and another AEE frame came with it on the deal, oddly enough it had cb750 mounts, and then that orange bike was built.

my cb750 long chop is torn apart right now, doing a bunch of body work to it, and yes, i have another long chop, the xs650 in the first picture still kicking around, both a little over 9 feet long.

Looks like I been blathering all my life and never realised it ... great work schoot, let us know where your new thread is ...

Wiz, that's one awesome machine you got cooking there ... Up here in the Sunshine State you wouldn't get rego on that until the weight of the paperwork exceeded the weight of the bike ...

Wow!! What an amazing resurrection! I love what you did with the seat...

My only personal taste quibbles are the street-fighteresque double headlights and stubby muffler. But I just don't like street-fighters.

One question, though... Why the big loop of rear brake line? To allow for wheel travel, I guess, but it seems like a lot.

Max, don't forget I moved the pegs way back, so where the brake line would have gone forward from the calliper I took it backwards & looped it over, if you look at the top picture, side on, it doesn't look too out of place.

Gotta agree Wiz, that seat is phenomenal! Really unique to incorporate the cafe tail into the seat itself. Did you do it yourself or buy it like that? Is it able to accomodate a passenger?

I adapted part of the original seat, then had it professionally covered.

    I'm speechless.

It reminds me of the Munch Mammoth. (Google it.)

Very nice craftsmanship, as usual. Is this one a "keeper?"

I'm building a revolutionary bike lift, Al.
& I'm changing a few things on this bike, got rid of those ridiculous clip on bars & have fitted drag bars (had to make risers) & I"m just changing the oil seal on the shifter shaft, (it's a dig it out from the outside job)(done the digging, just waiting for the seal)

Wiz has certainly earned the right to be called an XJ wizard as his magic certainly shows on all his work, whether it is an XJ or not. This is my favorite, but they are all exceptional.
