    Hello all!

I just bought my first bike as a project and I was hoping you all could help me identify exactly which model it is. The title says that it's an 83 750 Seca, but looking at the service manual it looks like it's either an 81 or an 82.

    The VIN is: JYA5G200XDA151842

And the number on the crankcase is: 5G2-151842

I think it's an 81 looking at the manual, but if you all could verify I really appreciate it.
This is my first post on here but I'm sure it won't be my last.

    I appreciate any input!

    Thanks,
    Ctech

Tenth position letter in the code is a D so it's a 1983.

There were no significant changes from '81 to '83, so they'll all look pretty much alike (aside from options like the fairings and luggage).

The only difference that I recall is the fine thread vs. coarse thread on the mixture screws

The bosses on the steering head and stem for the rotary steering damper in '83.
