Thanks for the parts again len, very quick as usual with delivery. Now all the enternals are new in the carbs maybe i can finally get this thing running right.....cross fingers

oh and what are the lil flat metal circles that come with the lower carb rebuild kit?!?!? I dont think ive ever seen those in my carbs and this will be about the 6th time going in.

I have a 1982 XJ 650 Maxim.

I would like to get a new 4-into-1 header to move the exhaust to the right side only so that I can have free access to the frame for kickstand work. I would also like a high-performance muffler of whatever kind is available.
I need new front foot rest rubbers.

Let me know what you can do and how much it will cost with shipping to zip code 20794.

To summarize

4->1 right side header

Well, my carbs are now back together (FINALLY!) and once the float levels are checked/adjusted they will be ready for install. Thanks to Chacal for having the stuff I needed to get these back in top shape. Stuff arrived very quickly after ordering; reasonable prices and shipping charges. Can't wait to fire her up again!

Valve shims - not sure of the sizes yet

I guess thats a start for now.

Hi Chacal. Got my order yesterday and am very happy. I am especially glad I bought the extension wiring kit for the new fuse box. I think it will make things smoother for installation and prettier for the long haul.

Got my SECA 750 parts from Len today - little cosmetic stuff like the Yamaha badges for the handlebar cover and under the headlights. Exactly what I needed and great service.

It's really good to have someone that not only has all these hard-to-find parts, but knows plenty about them and the bikes they belong to.

Just ordered an on/off valve from Chacal to replace my vacuum-actuated petcock. It's cheaper and probably a better idea unless you are absent-minded. Got sick of worrying about gas leaking where it shouldn't (in the back of my van last time). Shipped almost instantly as expected.
