I received the Yamaha YICS tool on Friday that same week, here in Downeast Maine so I could finish the job on my customer's XJ700N. I also received the replacement pilot jet screw that you sent me right away when I discovered one that did not fit properly. Got my oil filters/crush rings and my fusebox. Gonna replace that bad boy this week and hope my head light starts to work again

Carb boots and manifolds fit perfrectly, and make removing the carbs SO much easier, when the boots are soft and pliable!

I have a technique for easily removing and reinstalling the valve cover grommets. See the post in the "XJ Chat" section.

A few days ago I placed an order with chacal for a set of main jets for my beloved XJ650 Seca and I'm happy to report they arrived in my mail box today, safe and sound. My local shops were having a hard time tracking down the ones I needed, so I was very pleased to find out that chacal had them in stock. They are exactly what I need to get her in good running order. Ordered some new jets and had them in my hand in 4 days. A guy couldn't ask for better service than this.
Now that I have discovered this great source of parts and knowledge I can see where I will be riding the old beast for years to come.

Rec'd order today after much delay on my part. Len was instrumental in letting me know all the parts I would need for my project. He was very patient and helpful in every aspect.

You would be surprised at all the washers, nuts, pins, gaskets etc. you need when you perform some routine maintenance but Len knows and will be sure you get all you need.

I can't think of anything worse than ordering parts through the mail starting the said project and not having everything you need. XJ4ever will set you straight and get you going on your project.

Out of the all the parts I ordered, (probably 20 in all) Len had all of them in stock.

We are very lucky to have him at our disposal.

Shipping was quick and I hope to get started next week. Thanks Len!

Don't risk ordering parts from another source. XJ' prices are equal or even cheaper in some cases and you are dealing with a man where his reputation is very important to him and his business.

I am sure I will be back over and over again.

Ordered part (throttle cable) from chacal and it arrived in 3 days. That's about as close to instant gratification as you can ask for :wink: !!!
