    So I’m having some trouble restarting my xj550 maxim after a carb clean, it ran great until I was cleaning them and messed with the idle control knob and mixture screws, now It seems like I’ve just got the settings all out of wack.

    As far as the mixture screws, I’ve read between 2.5-2.75 turns out from soft bottom.

    what about a bench synch gap? I used a small drill bit.

    also most importantly, how far in or out should the idle mixture knob be? I can’t find any info on this anywhere… thanks in advance!
