Rode bike today for first time in 4 days. So as usual I tried put the choke on and tried to start it. And as expected it cranked plenty but didn't start. I charged the battery, and after that, it started like butter. Was actually amazing to see how easily it fired up. So that's progress!

Do you guys think it could be the charging system AND the battery having problems together??? or more likely just the battery??

Guys I know how to start my bike, throttle kills the vacuum.

    Also the beak stays

Check your charging system and see what you get!

have you pulled the battery and taken it to your local parts store and gotten it load tested yet.

bringing this thread back from the dead just to say thanks. After replacing the battery my starting troubles ended. It's really great to have a bike that starts so easily.

    Thanks

You should still do the charging system check just to make sure it's getting a healthy charge. It only takes a minute to put a meter across the leads and take a charging voltage reading. Chances are its ok, but if it's not you'll need to troubleshoot the problem. Glad to hear it's up and running!

Got it covered. I've got 14~ volts when revved, and zero current leak. Thanks
