xj650 ecu help

    yes the indicator switches are what we call (turn signals) over here so the turn signal switch or button or whatever you want to call it

    Geez...you'd think for $559 you could find one somewhere!

    Yes, 4k0 is a European model 1980 xj650...you'll need the book and parts for that.

    i have now a copy of a xj650 manual

    in pdf format, covers my model and year of bike, defantly an TCI unit used.

    however i do not believe this to be the same unit the guys at the repair shop found in my bike, i will have to have a look myself.

    The shop you took your bike to are trying to identify the model from the TCI unit rather than knowing what it is?

    FZ600 was a chain driven, faired sports bike. If you have a shaft-drive, naked bike with a 4KO engine/frame number you are one step ahead of the bike shop. Change bike shops pronto, and source the correct TCI unit on ebay.
