    Note: if there are hinges on a stock seat it's a Seca. The latch is on the right side of a Maxim and the seat is not hindged.

    first post just bought a xj650 1981 model eng no 4KO-004903 is the eng no and frame no the same, as i found a sticker under the fuel tank and a no 10r013-9901o
    can some one tell me what is the 4ko in ref to year/model/spec

    Thanks - got it - but this is the 650G - 1980. Do you have a "H" version? What changed between 1980 and 81?

    There no H (1981) service manual here though dude. I'm starting to think there isn't one.
