Physically won't fit? Because I can make a custom bracket for it that won't be a big problem.

I'm more curious about the electrical matching up.

All the electrical tachs take power from one of the coil leads (coming from the TCI); it doesn't matter which coil, so the wiring is pretty straightforward, just tap off one of the coil leads (orange or grey wire) and run it to the input for the tacho. You'll have to do some other re-wiring to your existing electrical connectors to tap into the lights and ground circuits for the tacho, but that's easy enough.

The above is if you decide to use JUST the tacho from the Maxim. Using the entire gauge cluster will give you some additional re-wiring challenges, not the least of which is the 650 Seca has a different turn signal indicator wiring path for the left and right signals, whereas the 650 Maxim only uses a single light to indicate "turn signal flashing" with no directional features.

Thanks. If I win I'll see what I can do with it. I'm looking at an after market option from MikesXS, might be a cleaner option.

    Here's my solution.
When riding at the pace of traffic shift gears when the engine goes Vrrrrrraaaaaaa

When riding at a spirited pace shift gears when the engine goes VRRRVRRAAAaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

In any case, always shift before the engine goes VVRRRRRAAAAAAAA POP, KLUNK!
