Dude... I've been following this thread closely, and all I can say is WOW!! I wonder how that would look and run on my bike?

Hey there Gennro, I just spent a delightful hour reading about the conversion. That would sure make my monster fly too and less likely to lean out a cylinder. That bike looks awesome! I can follow the build well, but would go crazy trying to make it work on my bike. Many kudos for the transformation.

Wow, any chance you're going to get this to a dyno and graph your gains?

    Awesome stuff!

This build deserves to be featured in a Bike Magazine.

I don't know how many people are capable of completing such a Technical oriented Mod; but the Motorcycle Community outside of our Forum would find the particulars of this project very interesting reading.

Kudo's for letting us go along for the ride.
    Great project.

Ordered 2' of 1.5" OD aluminum pipe and two 3" long 1.5" ID silicone couplers to build some longer runners for the throttle bodies to help smooth out the intake air and help with cylinder fill. This coupled with a good flowing exhaust should help a lot.

This is sort of related... but where did you get those intake pipes? They look great!

Those are just made from PVC pipe. I didn't like them at all so I took them off.

    Thanks man!

Motorcycle engines are cake to work on. The engine is back in the bike and finished painting. Just waiting for the paint to dry over night. Will have my 4-1 exhaust tomorrow so it will get the heat wrap and installed! The drag bas should be here this week along with some skull hand grips.

I also won the auction for the XJ900 oil cooler, $44! So that will be here this week at sometime.
