Xj750 Brakes fit an XJ1100

    Hi I am trying to put a XJ1100 back together. Some monkey pulled front brakes off complete. I found brakes for anXj750 any body know if they will fit the bigger bike? Any help would be appreciated!

    They will not. The mounts are very different. Look for brakes from an XS1100, which is essentially the same bike.

    Most of the XS1100 front brakes will not fit the XJ1100, 1981 was the only year they share the same front brakes.
    PM member andreashweiss he might have a set.

    Actually, the XJ750 Seca calipers will fit XJ1100 models (and the 1981 XS1100 MIDNIGHT Special....but not the "regular" XS1100 Special, and none of the XS1100 Standard mdoels).......
