Where do you keep finding these "barn finds" (apart from in a barn!).

I've been on the lookout and most barn finds have got silly price tags on them!

Perhaps we just have bigger barns.
Polock, your lodge members know I'm the Grand Wizard.
Yes, Hillsy, I do play pool, it just makes it more interesting playing around the bike parts.
I just got a ripper pair of shocks from the states for $30 8)

Hold on a minute! I see one of the 900 s hiding under a sheet but what is at the top of the picture behind the pool table?

The chrome mudguard and tail light suggest 1970's Kawasaki 2 stoke or maybe a Suzuki T250?

    I have replied!

I just had a thought though - a z200 featured in the late 70's film "Adventures of a plumbers mate". The further the plumber rode, the more of his girlfriends skimpy outfit came off!

These pictures prove what I have thought for a while, that this is a low mileage bike that has just been left neglected.
Anyone would be proud of those diaphrams & slides AFTER cleaning.
Anything on this bike that has not been directly exposed to the elements is like brand new??????????

Prepped the tank some & rustcoated the underside, ordered a sealer kit from KBS, for the inside, which looks pretty clean & has not been coated before, which is a real bonus.
This bike has a petcock for each carb, the only filter is a little screen inside the petcocks, with the height of the intake tubes I recon you will be running on RES most of the time.

Picked up a pair of mufflers off the bay for $20 the pair, they scrubbed up OK, they have the shape of the originals, but shorter, so I will extend the headers a bit.

The forum only allows a certain quota of pictures to be uploaded, when the quota is reached you have to dump some & start again, if there is ever a picture you want to see again let me know & I will re-post it, no worries, Wiz.

Sounds like you need some webspace to store your photos and then use the image code to post photos.

    Code:
So the following code placed in your post
    [img]http://www.syscap.com.au/images/dm/bike_hut.jpg[/img]
Would display the image below in your post. The only limit to how many photos you have is the amount of server space you have:

    Progress picture.
The 'spin on' oil filter for these bikes has been discontinued, so if any of you guys know of an alternative please let me know, no, the one off the 2000 R1 doesn't work, it needs an adaptor, then you can't get the sprocket cover on. :(
