    Did you figure out the center of the rear wheel? If nothing else take the tire off and mesure between the lips with calipers. Decide by half and mark this point several times around the wheel. Then spin it and try to get a nice true center mark. Maybe use a plumb line? Then use that as your reference point.

    PS did you use a 17 or 18" rear wheel? Most 17 are to wide. But the older GSXR, bandit and gs500 I think have a 4.5. 17 that is a little better to clear a chain some times.
