What are you planning on doing with regards to carbs/jetting, exhaust and valves?

I'm running a Mac 4 into 1 exhaust. This is my spare engine that is getting built and the valves and seats are already done.

Will run the engine in with my standard carbs (rebuilt last year) and by the time its run in my EFI system should be ready.

Looking forward to hearing the bike run should be awesome.
Hopefully it's not 1.5 years away.

Fingers crossed it will be sooner not later.

On the bright side, barrels were bored and honed to suit this week, but when the machine shop told me they were done I asked if they machined the barrel bases to 60 degrees for the ring lead in, there was a big pause.
In their defense, they don't do many bikes. As a positive they did ask my preferred piston to bore clearance before doing the job.

Further updates on the engine build will be in the Pumba project thread :)

I have one of those hallowed kits sitting here.. the Yoshimura XJ 750 -820 Big bore kit. with the head gasket and.. something not seen with the other kits. i also have the yoshimura Stage 5 special racing use only CAMSHAFTS. all in the original boxes. (matt black with gold leaf). problem is. the project is sort of grinding to a halt. dad no longer rides bikes. i made a promise after my last big accident on a blade never to ride bikes. and we still have the Old jap import XJ750 in the 650 silver design sitting in the garage. poor thing has had loads of new parts thrown at it over the years. New cylinder head cause the old one was cracked. got a original brand new collector box, new carb diaphrams, new jet kit, new cdi. the down side is im now stuck. do i rebuild it, knowing i cant ride it? or sell it on as a project for someone else to complete?

Are you interested in selling the parts? Let me know! I'm interested in the cam & bore set.

I don't want to start a bidding war but if skylrk reneges I'm VERY interested in the cam & bore set. Don't know where in the world you are but suspect the reference to TTS in your other post puts you in England.
