My 550 Seca tank has sprung a few rusty pinhole leaks along its bottom edge over the winter. Looking for a recommendation on a tank restorer. I'm in Mass if anyone knows someone local that'd be great. I've come across a couple places on google:

Moyer gas tank renu . Seems legit enough but a website that looks like its from 1997 always makes me a little suspect. Mostly 5 star google reviews, with a couple horror story 1 star reviews. Also has more than one 5 star reviews posted by the owners wife/website designer.

GTL Advantage - Nice site, seems legit, but they haven't responded to my email in a few days, so that's usually not a great sign.

I've never been a fan of fuel tank liners, seen too many of them separate and cause problems.
If it were me I would clean the inside of the tank the best you can with Metal Restore.
Identify all the leaks and grind them down on the outside to bare metal then lay 2 layers of fiberglass with lots of resin.
Smooth it out with putty, primer and paint.
It looks like you still have the original decals so I would just focus the repairs at the bottom, keep it localized and try to match the colour.

The websites you've referenced are not going to be cheap.
Best to make the fiberglass repair and ride, if you're not happy you can begin the search for the elusive NOS 550 Seca Tank.

Of all the steps in that tank build process, the machine that cuts off the extra sheet metal scares me! That'll take your fingers quicker than you can blink!

Yes, and at about the 1:25 mark in the video, notice the guy sitting down on the bench with his legs and knee all bandaged up, I guess he's the guy who used to do the sheet metal roll trimming.......
