Ordered the parts Thursday at 5am, they showed up at the door at 10am today (Saturday).

I ordered a laundry list of parts late Sunday night, they shipped Monday, waiting for me Friday when I got home. Everything in great shape and packed well.
When I bought this bike, first one, last summer I didn't want to have to rip it apart and repair lots of stuff...
Then I started learning what it meant to own an XJ. I've really just begun but I can't wait to restore every last part and with this website and Len's help I know I can.

The rumors are true, this guy ships via LIGHTNING BOLTS!!!!!! Made the order late sunday night, got the "order shipped" email on monday at 5pm (got priority shipping for 7 freakin bucks!!!) estimated arrival, 3 to 5 days, no joke, it's there wednesday morning!!! 2 DAYS?!?!?!?!?! Couldn't be happier. Chacal might not always be the cheapest( pretty dang close though), but with shipping times and prices like that, the difference in price is made up for in time! Also, everything was securely packaged and individually labeled. Will definetely be making more orders!!

 

Got my parts today . They shipped 2 days ago. I got these parts faster than the parts I ordered at the dealership. And I bordered them days before these. I'm still waiting for the dealer parts. Lol chacal rocks!!!

 

Thanks Len, my valve shim bucket holder showed up in no time. Top-notch service. I'll be back at ya for shims and brake parts as soon as I wrestle the bike into the basement and see what I need. Thanks again.

I was informed at each step & all parts were correct & in excellent condition!!

I gotta say it again, Len is the man.

Ordered throttle shaft seals on Thursday, parts arrived Saturday morning.

As long as Len is around, we won't have to have much down time when the XJs need to be fixed.

 

I'm waiting going on 3 weeks for a part.from the dealer. I could have gotten it 2 and half weeks ago if I ordered it from len. Never again will I order from the dealer.

 

So I first have to apologize to Len. It has taken me longer to post my feedback than it would take the dealer to get a part in. Len, I sincerely apologize.

So with that said, Len is the man. My last order came in the same week I ordered, allowing me to ride that weekend. (A small afterthought, this might be why my feedback has taken dealer-parts-order time).

Len is and shall be my source for parts - the quality and accuracy of the parts is top notch all the time.

 

Another great transaction from XJ4ever. A couple of parts that I came across needing and Len comes through again with quick shipping and fair pricing.

I'll post here as well.....thanks ++ Len for the great service, timely responses to e-mails and a clear invoice - those of us that deal with customs/border crossings really appreciate a breakdown of items with individual cost and total - I was in/out of the border in 5 mins!! All parts arrived safe and sound in the packaging....good job....more orders to follow...

Got my parts super fast, they fit like they were made for the bike (They were!). My only complaint is that the cool sticker of the XJ engine on the box wouldn't come off so I can stick it to my hardhat at work. Chacal was great with communications and let me know when my stuff was shipped.

Sent what I was planning to do but was not sure what I needed. Len broke it down to the exact parts I should get for the job. He even included links to several visuals from the forums so I could pull the job off. I placed the order on the 19th and it was on my doorstep the 22nd!

WOW when people say that Len ships at the speed of light they were right! I just got done replacing fork seals, O-rings, dust boots and fork oil and everything came a day or two early. Thanks XJ4ever!! I'll be back for a cam cover seal and doughnuts next.

Second order placed Friday and recieved Monday afternoon, Awesome! New starter solenoid installed last night and it fit like a glove. After bump starting the bike for a month it sure was nice to hit the starter button this morning and hear the starter engage. Excellent parts and service, thanks Len.

 

Ordered on a Thursday, got it the next Thursday! Not bad for shipment from the States to Canada.

The prices are a bit higher than listed in the catalog, so be prepared for that. They're still absolutely reasonable though.

Just received tools to do a valve inspection to prepare for adjustment. I'm extremely happy dealing with chacal, and I will order all my parts from him from now on, if I can.

 

Len worked with me for a few days quoting and requoting parts so I could get my list just right so I only ordered one time. I paid for the tracking insurance and expedited shipping and received my stuff in OH within 3 business days!!! And that was only because the USPS put my stuff on a truck servicing the wrong zip code and it went driving around Columbus for a day. I checked the parts and everything is perfect, well bagged and well tagged. VERY happy doing business with Len. HIGHLY recommend.

 

Having this website combined with chacal, not only to interject on some of the occasionally "questionable" suggestions I've read, or to suggest the parts needed in a post when someone writes "what do i need to get this replaced?", but to also be at the same place you are sharing ideas and plans is kinda like your local NAPA:

Except, you don't have to get outta your undies to drive there, the prices are fair, if you ask for advice you actually get lots of it, rather than a dead pan stare like you're a frickin' moron, anything you need is available AND the right part, and it only smells as bad as your own living quarters. Oh, maybe its not like NAPA. (jk, apologies to NAPA staff on here. I've always liked NAPA)
