XJ4ever parts & service

Another vote for Len and his excellent service. Got wtih him and he sent me all the information I needed to rebuild a gas cap to include instructions! Had the parts three days after ordering and everything was individually bagged, labled, and thrown into a bigger bag. It was an awesome experience.

 

I consider myself lucky to have such a great resource for my xj. Chacal has extremely fast shipping and he includes all the pertinent pointers for the job at hand. I have ordered a slew of miscellaneous items from him and from each have been pleasantly surprised by the level of service. Thanks Chacal!

The only description not used on these pages so far is 'Len is a Legend'.

I simply asked him for a list of parts to re-birth the XJ750P chassis & forks and he supplied the list right down to copper washers, both OEM & aftermarket. Can't believe they were all in stock and shipped immediately with a very favourable exchange rate. Took 17 days from Lens door to mine, not bad considering Google has the road trip at 25,958 kms, although I am a bit dubious about the kayaking to Japan they recommended.

With service like this I won't even be bothering my local Yammy dealers for so much as a washer. With everyopne else buying parts from xj4ever I just wondering how he keeps producing the goods for 30 year old bikes.

Shipping from the states to Sweden took 5 workdays. Even got lucky and it didn't pass our customs.

It took Len 2,5 months of communicating with me before I knew what I needed and wanted, but he was always very helpful! After finally placing the order, the parts were shipped within a day and I got them 7 days later (because he had to send them to the Netherlands) - which is really fast!

Very happy with his service and will definately be ordering again.

 

Len probably has anything you could ever possibly need for your bike.

If all you had was a speedometer and a brake pedal, you could probably buy all the rest of the parts from Len and build your own Maxim from the ground up. Without Chacal and his endless catalog, I think we'd all be screwed!

I gotta say that was some of the best service for parts I have ever seen!!!! I ordered put in the request at 2300 and had a reply with all the part numbers and prices by 2330!!!! I gotta say the shipping was great too, super fast with the priority! No skimping on the packaging either, well done! Just installed the new valve shims and gasket, and I gotta say I have never heard this bike sound this good, I cant wait to ride again!!!!

I'm in Canada so shipping takes a bit longer than to you guys in the states, but still very good.

Already making a list for my next purchase.

I don't think I met anyone as helpful as Len, and willing to answer questions.

First bike, so i have a lot of them.

 

Received my order last Friday. Happy with the parts. This is my second parts order since my original order with bikebandit.com was not complete - they told me parts were out of stock after i had made my order.

XJ4ever came through and supplied with me the missing parts. Also very happy that they were able to find me the "positive battery terminal connector", which is a bent piece of metal, as i had tried in vain through local dealers and the internet unsuccesfully.

Also happy that it came via USPS - since i didn't have to pay brokerage fees. I live in Canada.

 

Never again will I order parts from anyplace but XJ4Ever! Chacal offers great prices and quality parts. I know I sound like a commercial but the level of customer service is outstanding. So, I have a few minor projects for the bike this winter. I PM Len (Chacal) with what I'm planning to do and what I think I need. We adjust the order to make sure I have everything, and Len does something both rare and commendable: he tries to talk me out of buying new brake lines because I'm thinking about going to dual disc fronts next year. Basically, he wanted to save me money and get less himself.

Who does THAT?!?

Awesome customer service!! He helped me solve a major issue with my dual front brake swap, through his wealth of knowledge! And set me up with the remainder of the parts I needed to finish the job. I was so satisfied, I ordered something else this morning! Way to go chacal!

 

I smelled a snow melt coming. Put together a list Saturday and sent it for a price update. Did the Paypal thing Sunday, shipped Monday. Got my slip telling me to come on down to the post office Thursday. I still say he should run Amazon's order fulfillment dept. I spent hours last summer trying to keep a seized-up clutch cable going. Just shows how STUPID I can be!!

Received the caliper and MC rebuild kits today. Just in time for the first day of spring. Another winter storm warning for tomorrow and we have about 4' of snow to melt :cry: Hope to see the bikes some time in May.
Also found a new kill switch decal taped to my receipt. Not sure if it was put there by mistake or on purpose? I'd guess Len stuck in for a repeat customer. Thanks Len!
One of my biggest fears is that one day Len is going to close shop. Hope it's not for many more years. My son is taking over the Seca this year and I'd like to see the bike running for many more seasons.
