I’ve been having very good service from XJ4EVER. They have all of the parts no one else has for my 1982 Seca 750, along with good write ups on doing the work. Parts arrive promptly and are the correct ones for my bike. Len is fast to reply with a quote or advice. I’d be sunk if I hadn’t found this supplier. Thanks Len.

    Hello Len

Thank you for painting my ordered Rod Joint looks nice.
    Have a question ?
Is it normal to have a good amount play in the brake pedal within the mounting bore of the frame, seems to tighten up the movement with the brake pedal spring is attached.

Once again, I have to say how lucky this community is to have a parts provider at the level of XJ4ever. The quality of the reproduction parts and the level of service comes 2nd to none. Lucky is the XJ community to have this vendor as their own!

Meant to write something the other week. Got new brake lines, and a fuse kit for my Maxim. Don't know why I bought parts from other vendors before. Everything was quality materials, neatly packaged in size appropriate bags and labeled. All parts came with a nice packet of instructions, advice, and other helpful tips. I'm only buying parts from Len for now on. Thanks again!

Received my spin-on oil filter kit today for my '83 XJ750 Maxim from Len at XJ4ever hoping to replace one night this week if not then will be replacing it this weekend. Also received new exhaust manifold gaskets, studs and nuts. A lot of work to do but in the end it'll all be worth the time. All the parts came from Len and I received excellent service, good pricing and the dialog was fantastic, he definitely knows his stuff and helps you out when you have questions and responds quickly. The shipping was very quick and economical. I'll continue to purchase my parts from him because they are new, specific to your bike and guaranteed. Trying to keep it original since I'm the only owner, it's hard but I want an easier way to change the oil so spin-on it is and the best way I can think of to keep it as original as possible is with XJ4Ever.

Another "Thank You" to Len, he even gets me parts that aren't listed and don't have part numbers, you can't do better than that, he is, with out a doubt the finest parts man there is.

Len was able to send me everything I needed to freshen up the top end on my 550 Seca.
He did miss throwing in a new exhaust header bolt when he boxed everything up.
I’ll get one next order. LOL
If that’s the worst order mix up I ever experience I’ll be a very lucky man!

    Thanks Len.

Len contacted me right away. The exhaust bolt was not on the invoice. I could have just forgotten to add it on my order.

Another solid endorsement of XJ4Ever and Len to add to the thread - I ordered and received my spin-on oil filter conversion kit in very short order -- even across the border to Canada (during COVID), and no customs or duty fees to pay. Instructions were extensive, communication was prompt and seamless, and the entire installation exercise was stress-free. There's no question that Len and XJ4Ever are going to be my first stop for any parts or upgrades for my Seca. Thanks Len! Outstanding work.(next winter job -- replacing the header wrap that I've torn by previous years' oil filter changes . . . .)

Over the last few months I purchased a number of parts including:
Seat cover, strap & rivet tool
    Rear shocks & springs
    Rubber brake lines (full set)
    Spark plug caps
    Rectangular mirrors
    Gas tank cap
Everything has turned up exactly as described. I recently ordered a number of parts which are probably not available anywhere else. I don't know how I would have finished my latest project if it wasn't for XJ4Ever.

Almost 4 decades ago my first street bike was a 1981 XJ550 Maxim so when I found a 1982 XJ550 Maxim on craigslist I figured it would be a nice winter project and nice addition to the stable. The bike was "running when parked" but that was over a decade ago. Lots of tiny issues with the bike but I figured it was cheap and pretty clean so I went all in.

Well, the fist thing to do before working on anything else was to bring the engine back to life which after taking care of oil (yup, crankcase was full of fuel because bike was left with gas in it and petcock left on prime), cables that were binding, and make sure the transmission was in neutral. So of course the next and most important thing was to clean the carbs. Ugh... thanks to all the info on this site as well as a huge amount of help from Len at xj4ever the carbs are well cleaned with important missing and damaged parts replaced and the bike roars back to life :)

The bike also had a stuck front brake. Yup, more parts from Len but in particular, a chance to upgrade the master cylinder site glass. Again. Len's ever helpful information both on the site as well as when emailing with him and with the instructions he included in the shipment made that task yet another successful effort in bringing the bike back to life.

I'm still working my way through various things on the bike and ultimately I've found that it is always a sure bet to get parts from XJ4ever rather than trust what ebay/amazon vendors try to sluff off as "fits your XXX" parts. Plus, Len gives you LOTS of information to actually know what to do with the parts.

    Yay Len/XJ4ever

Dude Len is a wizard. I hope he has one or several proteges should anything ever happen. Fingers crossed. Got my petcock rebuild kit, ready to stop that fuel leak once it warms up a little. Oh, and thanks for the cool sticker!

Great service! Honestly, such a hassle free.

I placed an order and PAID and then realized I didn't need a part. Chacal happily modified my order and gave a refund on the part I didn't want.

    I recommend 100%

Restoring an XJ650J and needed a few parts to rebuild the carburetor. Also, broke a bolt off in the valve cover. Len helped me get all the parts and had them to me before I was even able to get the bolt unstuck! I'll be installing this weekend and hopefully all goes well!

Rebuilding a set of XJ750 brakes to install on my ‘81 XJ550. New pistons were great and I’ve got some new rubber slider boots and o-rings on the way. Len is a great help with great parts. Definitely recommend getting any parts you might need from him. Thanks a bunch.

I just had the best experience with Len at xj4ever! I placed an order (XJ11443) for some mixture screws and they showed up in two days! But thats not even the best part.

Emailed and got a response so fast. That doesnt happen often anymore. Im so happy at how the transaction went that i have been just thinking about what else i could order from him

    FIVE STARS!

and thank you for being a source for hard to find parts. My 85 XJ700 and 83 XJ750MK will now be on the road for many years to come!

Shout out to Len at xj4ever
Ordered my parts Wednesday evening and they arrived today (Monday)
Not only does he ship fast, but was able to tell me exactly what I needed for the repairs on my xj700.
My second order from him, and the only place I buy parts from. :)

I've been getting parts from Len since he started here more than 10 years ago. I'm always blown away by the level of detail he's provided in his online parts catalog.
I just bought a replacement base O-ring from him for the spin-on oil filter conversion kit for my XJ550 Seca, and of course it shipped fast and worked right -- as expected!

Once again hats off to Len. If you need a part he's got it or probably knows where to get it. We've done business several times over the years and I've been nothing but satisfied. You'll be hard pressed to find a more courteous, knowledgeable and professional person to deal with these days.

I rebuilt the carbs for my 650 Seca & made the mistake of purchasing rebuild kits from my local m/c shop. I wasn't impressed with the quality so bought new parts from XJ4Ever so now have decent quality replacements. In the same order I got a diode block, brake light switch & turn signal flasher.
I have no idea how Len gets his hands on these parts - you can't get some of these bits anywhere else.

I have purchased parts from Len for ~ 10 years now. I have a 1982 XJ550 with 11,000 miles on it; trying to keep it perfect, and Len helps with that. I recently had to purchase carb boots as mine were cracking (originals, not surprised). Len, as always, presented me with the options, pricing, shipping considerations up-front, and after I ordered, the parts arrived quickly. Thanks Len!

Just a note to thank Len for the tremendous resource of parts (and more importantly, the associated knowledge on fitment). There are some limited sources to parts on-line, but the sellers haven't a clue on the exact fitment, let alone the nuances. This knowledge becomes priceless if your project had been tampered with in the past, or you are missing components. Len is the perfect source to guide you and obtain the right parts.
I have just finished my XJ700 Air-cooled, and it runs like a top. With a few remaining tiny details, she'll have gone from a dusty rust bucket to a vintage show-n-shine contender.
Thanks -- may you always be in business for us XJ fans!

I inquired about the spin-on filter kit....emailed back next day, later I ordered carb boots, or tried to. Had 48hrs between emails detailing quote #'s which was never received till 3rd email which I had to request when my original email said clearly I wanted to place an order, shipping prices, another lengthy email...thought order was finally placed, then a PayPal email informing of a partial refund and to contact vendor for details. Another email later telling me the total was miscalculated and invoice email was to much. I'm in NO way condemning the parts, people, website or nothing, but if people have been buying for 10+ years, u would think the ordering procedure would have been streamlined by now. add an ordering page to the website outlining costs, tracking, shipping woes, and a place to input parts wanted all in one place on the site....

"I mean no harm whatsoever", just a lot of time lost to get my parts ordered. Other than that, thanks for the resource and the xj4ever member/s.
I love constrictive criticism myself, the process is the only thing I would throw a stick at...... and again Thanks!

I leave one message taken out of context, and I get my email blocked by xj4ever..... Seems a little hypocritical To block someone who post an honest opinion, I understand PM'ing me to try to understand the issue, and try to fix it. but just blocking a customer like that.....
I would hate to see the response when they realize I haven't received my order.

Mechanic1978: if you'd like me to, I'll be glad to post on this forum the entire chain of correspondence between you and I, including date stamps, etc., so that anyone may see the true extent of our "bad business practices", and decide for themselves.

Would you like for me to do that?
