I don't think anyone would disagree but every single order I have placed has been a real great experience, in todays age of every website offers parts because they don't actually have parts, its refreshing to find someone who actually has the parts and sells them with the knowledge to back it all up.

I am not much of a poster with my projects, just one of those things...but will once completed, ever since making the move to focus on these bikes, its been because of Len and XJ4ever that I will continue looking for my next project to be a yamaha product.

The fact is a resource of knowledge is not only hard to come by, but also priceless...getting parts is one thing, but getting them at a resonable price great, getting those parts quickly...fantastic....getting everything you need with the information you wanted....Priceless!

Just wanted to thank chacal for another prompt order turnaround. My colortune plug has arrived and will be christened tomorrow night god willing! Here's to Bunsen burner blue and the girl with the red shoes!

 

I don't post much here, mostly because my questions are always answered with a simple search and I've had luck on my side. I hope to share back as I enter my 2nd year of XJ ownership.

I wanted to bump this thread because I've ordered parts from chacal twice already and working on my third right now. It's all about the service. Communication is always clear, always honest, and shipment is fast, fast, fast!

 

Got the last shipment from Chacal yesterday, only one week after it was posted. Gotta give credit to the customs officials who didn't bother looking at the small parcel
But most of all to Len, for excellent service and handling. You rock, man!

always arrive three days later-amazing.

And the quality is outstanding.

Trying to find parts in Australia for my XJs has been a bit of a nightmare not to say costly only wish I had found Chacals site earlier in my restoration. It only took 12 days to arrive (international postage) and all arrived in perfect order. Still have my 750 to restore so many more orders to come

I rec'd my order from XJ4Ever within two days of contacting Len. Incredible. And he gave me some very good troubleshooting as to my issues as well.

 

Bump! Got my parts and tools..too bad I just dropped the bike, so it'll be some time before I can install 'em. Once I heal up, he'll be getting my business to return it to the road where it belongs.

I'm probably preaching to the choir but Len is an incredible resource. He has most everything you can want and he ships ASAP.

Better than buying from a Yama or other dealer; it's buying from a friend.

 

Ordered brake hoses were shipped quickly and they were perfect fit. I also liked the enclosed instructions. They were very helpful.

good onya len, parts arrived in australia ,quicker than i thought they would this time,A CLASS ACT is our len,and a thank you to bigfitz for his tacho cable housing thingo ,it stopped leaking instantly as expected,should be good for another 30 years.

 

Just finished a petcock rebuild. Got everything from Len very quickly. He helped me through the order and got me everything I needed. Bigfitz's guide to rebuilding petcocks rocks. Awesome pics and instructions to follow. Thanks Len for getting me back on the road!

Thanks for the speedy shipment, although it did take me well 2 weeks to finally drive to the pick-up point, all to find out that Swedes also put tax on good when you pick it up at their post offices

Thanks Len , your service to Australia is equally excellent.As fewer of these bikes made it to Oz, sourcing parts locally is almost impossible. As my current xj650 project nears completion ,Ive been wanting to pick up an xj650 turbo for rebuild, but hesitated because of uncertain parts availability. Chacal has been extremely helpful. He even suggested that I pickup several of an air filter form another supplier that I found at a great deal on because he couldn't match the price. Then, he proceded to give me some advice on an aftermarket oil cooler issuse. He seems to have all the parts that no one else has and has recently helped me with some grommets to keep my side cover from falling off. I don't know where I would have found those without him.

 

Lets see....I ordered my parts on Tuesday and received them today. That is crazy fast service. Everything was packed well and more importantly...especially when ordering tons of little bolts and washers, everything was labelled perfectly. No more guessing and measuring.

If you need parts for your bike, I'm pretty sure there is only one source.
